    After being there over more than 50, maybe even 100 times, this place was my favorite Mexican in the area.  However, something has changed with the food, and I am guessing it is the chef.  Seasoning is not near as good anymore.  Hopefully they get back whomever they lost in the kitchen.

    Update 2/10/2016: The food is back to where it was - maybe someone went on a long vacation?  Not sure.  But tastes great again.

    We had a party of 6 and my husband's meal never came then they brought it cus they forgot then it was wrong then they finally bring it but we have to ask for it to go the waitress says she cant do anything cus the manager is gone for a family emergency needless to say we wont be back

    I feel like they used to serve great food. The service was always decent or slower side.
    Food wise, This one was just like one in the mall.. but not anymore.
    As you can tell by reading recent reviews (which I agree), the service and food quality have declined.

    We re on our way there from Manly,IA  about 30 minutes away then off to Jacksonville,IL My kids are so excited about coming back here to the original location.  This place been the one we craved for since we moved out of QC back in 2004!

    Food was decent.  Not great.  We didn't find either dish we ordered to be seasoned well.  The margarita was delicious.  The service was friendly and prompt.  

    The place is comfortable, homey & there were several tables seated & it was not overly loud (which is a big deal to me!).

     We might go back, give it one more try... but I'm not sure.
